French Toast for the Beginner cook

Delicious, easy, fast french toast



  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 10 slices of thick cut bread
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • Pinch of salt

Idiot’s Guide:

  • Mix the 2 large eggs, milk, and vanilla extract into a large bowl
  • Heat up a large skillet or frying pan on medium low heat
  • Melt butter evenly across the skillet
  • place bread into the egg mixture and lightly coat both sides
  • put the toast onto the skillet and let set until brown
  • serve with butter 😀
