Ingredients
- 2.5 lbs ground chuck (80-20)
- 1 lb Sage sausage
- 2 (28 oz diced tomatoes)
- 1 (6 oz can tomato paste
- 1 large white onion
- 2 green bell peppers
- 2 red bell peppers
- 2 green chilies
- 2 jalapenos
- 4 large cloves garlic
- 4 beef bouillon
- 1 T oregano
- 16 oz Salsa
- 1 t basil
- 1 T paprika
- ¼ cup chili powder
- 1 T cumin
Instructions
- In a large frying pan add olive oil and lightly fry diced garlic until it starts to become brown
- Remove the garlic and add in small amounts of beef and sausage and let fry until browned
- Add the browned meat into the crock pot
- Repeat step 3 and 4 until all meat is browned
- Dice up all vegetables and add into crock pot
- Add in tomato paste, diced tomato, salsa, and beef bouillon cubes
- Measure out the spices and add to the top of the chili
- Cook on high for ~4 hours
